Soft Mannequin Launch & 5 Year Follow Up

There’s a bit of strain on the joints that causes drooping when limbs are really outstretched. This problem is only temporary and is caused by the solid, heavy sculpting epoxy (Apoxie Sculpt). In production the limbs will beĀ much lighter!
The good news is that even for my purposes now I can adjust the tension on all but the toe joints so things hold still enough.*

Gobs and gobs of resin, epoxy, sandpaper later and we’re here! And, by “here,” I mean the Artipose mannequin has undergone a transformation in its engineering and manufacturing that I feel comfortable enough that I can release it to the world. It’s more articulated both in number of articulations and range of motion than the original. It hearkens more closely to its roots (shout out to Andrew Loomis and his wonderful stick-figure!)
